and 4th bedroom/ 2nd sitting room, shower room and separate wc
downstairs and 3 bedrooms and bathroom upstairs. Ideal for
a family holiday It has
its own large garden and patio with sitting out area in front of
the holiday cottage. L'Orfeu itself is a hamlet of 2 houses (our holiday cottage and our french neighbour's cottage where they live) and a barn. It is situated just outside Jugon-les-Lacs in an idyllic rural location. It is a half hour's walk to the village of Jugon or 5 minutes in the car for your croissants in the morning! |

Located in a small valley, on the shore of a beautiful 4km-long lake, Jugon les Lacs is a lively and pretty town. You will find bars, banks and shops and its fun to wander through the town to find streams disappearing under houses and flower-fastooned bridges in the summer. Jugon les Lacs, is a Petites Cités de Caractère" or a Small town with character", a title awarded to towns or rural communities with a wide range of historic buildings.Our self catering cottage is in the Cotes d' Armor region of Brittany and is 20 minutes from The Emerald Coast and the Cote de Penthievre. It is ideally located for discovering this wonderful and varied region of France. The Emerald Coast runs along the north coast of Brittany from St- Malo and Dinard to Cap Frehel. And the Cote de Penthievre from Cap Frehel to the Bay of St Brieuc. Along this stretch of coast are stunning beaches - you will be spoilt for choice, all worth visiting and always more to discover! They are connected by a lovely coastal road and also a spectacular coastal footpath.
